In recent years, the popularity of electronic trading platforms has been growing, due to both the general trend towards digitalization and the generational change in business. According to Frost & Sullivan, the conversion of customer requests for marketplaces is about 10% in the B2B and 3% in the B2C segment.
Sharing economics
Such a phenomenon as sharing economy is included in the list of ideas compiled by Time magazine that will change the world in the near future, and also claims to be a new socio-economic model that changes the principle of consumption of goods and services. This phenomenon is explained by the fact that paying for temporary access to a number of products is often more profitable than buying it.
Social media services
Social networks are a powerful marketing research tool that allows you to collect the information about users that they themselves shared voluntarily. The effectiveness of such a communication tool was foreseen by the Russian writer of the 19th century Vladimir Odoevsky, who predicted the emergence of the Internet in the unfinished utopian novel "The year 4338": "... magnetic telegraphs are arranged between acquainted thanks to which people living far apart talk with each other." Currently, in Russia, the penetration of social networks is estimated at 47%, about 70 million people have social media accounts (for comparison: the global average is 45%). 99% of Russian Internet users use messengers or social network monthly.
